Summer Outdoor workshop
Experience yoga outside! Renew and refresh yourself – embrace the warmth of the summer sun into your body and heart !
This outdoor practice will focus on the lungs and heart – the parts of the body that affect our love/joy and overall inspiration/hope. Join me and like-minded yogis to experience an abundance of joy, laughter and inspiration in the natural elements of mother-nature.
End the session with organic tea & enjoy a sampling of food that supports and nurtures your heart and lungs.
Summer yoga on Shadbolt patio:
July 13th 9:30am-12noon (July 20th rain date)

9:30 Intro to heart & lungs as it pertains to yoga
9:45 Vinyasa flow yoga class focusing on the upper body, chest and shoulders
10:30 Yin practice focusing on lungs and heart
11:45 Enjoy tea & sampling of food
12 noon Thank you – Namaste

FREE YOGA CLASS
- Breathe! Take time in your practice to breathe in and out through your nose. This will help to release tension when holding asanas (poses) for a long period of time.
- Be Kind…to yourself! When you feel tired – take time to rest and nurture yourself with good whole foods. Life is a journey to enjoy, not a race to complete.
- Motion is lotion: If you are feeling stiff – consider gentle movements to move the qi and blood in your body. Check out my Youtube channel for some yoga movements.

Yoga Mat Cleaner:
Mix 1 part warm water with 3 parts white vinegar. Add a few drops of essential oils (like eucalyptus, tea tree oil, mint or lavender) Use liberally on mat and wipe off.
