Acupuncture with Tracie
I have always been interested in health, wellness, and the human body. As a child born to Chinese Caribbean parents, I learned from a very young age the importance of balance and moderation as the key to longevity. I have always been fascinated with the human body’s potential for healing.
To further my knowledge of Yin yoga and to satisfy my passion for knowledge, I went back to school and graduated at the top of my class with a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I like to serve my community with the knowledge of both yoga movement and Chinese medicine. My experience lies in helping people with acute or chronic pain, hormone regulation, stress and sleep-related issues.
My time is split between teaching and working with patients. I am also clinical instructor and lecturer at the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have provided Wellness workshops for Unicef, the City of Markham and various corporate offices in Toronto and the GTA.
I am certified in Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture and have learned from many teachers including Dr. Travall of NYC. I incorporate his Aesthetic acupuncture techniques (the same techniques he uses for his celebrity patients) that will promote collagen, target fine lines & wrinkles and overall balance your skin from inside out.
Most notably, I have become popular for meridian head massage that assists in balancing hormones to reduce stress and resolve insomnia. This type of head massage can help to rejuvenate the whole body as well.
I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.

Health Tips
-
- Breathe! Take time in your practice to breathe in and out through your nose. This will help to release tension when holding asanas (poses) for a long period of time.
- Be Kind…to yourself! When you feel tired – take time to rest and nurture yourself with good whole foods. Life is a journey to enjoy, not a race to complete.
- Motion is lotion: If you are feeling stiff – consider gentle movements to move the qi and blood in your body. Check out my Youtube channel for some yoga movements.
