Acupuncture with Tracie

I specialize in supporting women’s health through acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on hormonal balance and cycle regulation. I commonly work with concerns such as PCOS, hot flashes, irregular or painful periods, and the physical and emotional symptoms that often accompany hormonal changes. My approach is gentle, personalized, and rooted in helping the body restore balance naturally.

Alongside women’s health, I work extensively with stress-related conditions, including anxiety, burnout, poor sleep, and nervous system dysregulation. Many of my patients seek me out specifically for my meridian head massage, a deeply calming treatment that helps regulate hormones, quiet the mind, and improve sleep. This unique treatment supports the flow of qi and blood through the head and body, offering both immediate relaxation and long-term stress relief.

My background bridges both movement and medicine. I graduated at the top of my class with a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and have extensive training in yoga, yin yoga, and mindfulness-based practices. Earlier in my career, I also served as a clinical instructor and lecturer in Traditional Chinese Medicine, an experience that continues to inform my thoughtful, education-based approach to patient care.

I have facilitated wellness workshops for organizations including UNICEF, the City of Markham, and corporate offices across Toronto and the GTA. I am also certified in Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture and incorporate aesthetic acupuncture techniques that support collagen production, skin vitality, and overall balance from the inside out.

I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Whether you are seeking support for hormonal health, stress relief, sleep, or overall well-being, I aim to create a calm, supportive space where healing can unfold naturally.

Health Tips

    • Breathe!  Take time in your practice to breathe in and out through your nose.  This will help to release tension when holding asanas (poses) for a long period of time.
    • Be Kind…to yourself!  When you feel tired – take time to rest and nurture yourself with good whole foods.  Life is a journey to enjoy, not a race to complete.
    • Motion is lotion:  If you are feeling stiff  – consider gentle movements to move the qi and blood in your body.   Check out my Youtube channel for some yoga movements.
